Looks like the new guidelines have been finalized.
Finally got around to scanning through the whole document…
I didn’t see any upper limit on fat although they do concentrate on a 10% limit for saturated fat (which for most diets would limit total fat as well). They do note benefits of moving from saturated fats to monounsaturated and particularly polyunsaturated. Of course added sugars and sodium are still hot topics.
It is well presented… although after reading through it my head was spinning a little. At the end of the summary they might have easily added “Or just eat Soylent”.
