This YouTube video says that you get 23% fewer calories from oats if you don’t cook them. Is that true?

Cooked food is easier to digest and get calories from. No Idea if that 23% is accurate or not.


Right. Both the complex carbs and the proteins in the oats may be less digestible (for people) if it’s not cooked.
