For those who add PB2 and fiber to 1.5: how much?

#1

I’ve been looking around the forum to figure out ways to make Soylent a bit more optimal. I noticed several discussions about the lacking fiber of 1.5 so I decided to add some to the mix. Right now, I’m using Metamucil (powdered psyllium husks) and PB2 (which also has fiber in addition to enhancing the taste.)

My question is, for those of you that use either/both of these additions, how much do you typically add to 1 pack of 1.5? Right now, I’ve been using roughly 6 tablespoons of PB2 and 2 tablespoons of Metamucil. I think the taste and consistency is perfect, but do you think this is too much or too little?

EDIT: Here are the nutritional facts for both to reference:

If you are enjoying the taste and texture and the added nutrients work for you then you are on the right track. I’ve never added additional fiber but have used 1-2 tablespoons of PB2 in a 16 ounce serving. Doesn’t add significant fat but it does add about 8gm protein. Glad to hear you are enjoying your Soylent experience. Don’t be afraid to experiment and make it your own.

I add 2 teaspoons of Psyllium Husk to a bag of Soylent.

I did this to add bulk to my stool; for some it causes loose stool for others it causes hard stools.

A serving of soylent for me is 115 g soylent, 5 g metamucil, 6 g whey protein isolate and 4 g cocoa powder.

Fiber and protein increased with the calories still around 500. Cocoa for taste.
