Maltodextrin: Good or bad for Candida?

#1

I’ve read all over the internet that maltodextrin is one one of the worst things to put in your body if you’re trying to fight candida overgrowth, but couldn’t find a reliable source from a health or nutritionist website discussing the ingredient’s relationship to yeast growth. Does anybody have information to provide about this? As I find info I’ll post it, but as of now I feel ill informed about the subject.

Probiotics are a way to help with this, but if you’re looking to cure serious candida overgrowth, you are supposed to follow a very strict diet, which very easily could make Soylent pretty useless for quite a lot of people.

Thanks!

If you don’t get an answer here, there’s a professional dietician on the Powdered Foods forum. So you could go there and ask him.
