You can consume less and be fine or consume more and still be fine. Omega 6 is an essential PUFA and therefore there must be a minimum intake at which deficiency symptoms go away. According to the below article there was a study in 2003 that determined the minimum to be 3-4 grams. If anyone knows what study the article is referring to let me know I would like to read it.
