I went from two to three fast food meals a day, to Soylent. Yes, I still crave that greasy, fast food burger. I would do anything to have a bite of one. But in the same breath, ever since I’ve started Soylent, I’ve actually felt fuller than I do on my fast-food-junkie diet. I feel like I can last the whole day, instead of dreading the whole day. I feel like I don’t NEED that type of food in my life because I’m full, happy, and it’s convenient.
While it’s still early in my journey, and I haven’t seen any weight loss, I FEEL better. Which justifies the $4 fastfood meal I could be getting. Even tonight - I debated on ordering pizza. Why? Because it’s a habit. It’s a HABIT for me to order pizza on a weekly basis. The delivery driver knows my name and address by phone number. Since Soylent, I haven’t had any need to do so. There is a missing factor - where I miss ordering pizza, or the smell of it’s arrival.
But in the same breath, I’m perfectly content. I can get through my 10 hours of work, I have enough energy at the end of the day to actually do things - instead of lounge on the sofa 'til bed time, and I can actually say - for the first time in a long time, that I feel like this might actually work.
I look forward to posting my weight loss progress in this thread. I can stand to lose about 30 pounds. I’m hoping Soylent can help that. In fact, I think it WILL help that.
