Rice protein, common source of arsenic


I just wanted to mention that the use of rice protein is problematic because of arsenic contamination. As a result, some products have been substituting pea protein. The drawback of pea protein is that it tastes awful, while rice protein has a more neutral flavor. Pea protein, however, is preferable to whey or soy due to being hypoallergenic.
