Short-Term Consumption of Sucralose

New study shows that “These findings indicate that consumption of sucralose in the presence of a carbohydrate rapidly impairs glucose metabolism”. The link is here

What do you all think about this recent study? Most studies have not found any effects from sucralose but it looks like here they are saying that taking it with carbs impairs insulin compared to just eating the carbs.

What about this very recent meta-analysis that suggests it’s not something to be concerned about?

Individual studies are interesting, but more research is needed to comfortably arrive at conclusions and/or application for our lives. The meta-analysis is the highest form of evidence in research. Don’t misunderstand what I’m saying, individual studies have value, but you have to consider their results in the context of the literature - if they deviate, why? If they conform, why?
