Soylent 2.0 and dry mouth

#1

Has anyone else found that the emulsifiers/stabilizers in Soylent 2.0 have a side-effect of drying out your mouth?

Kind of. Yes, I’ve noticed similar…having started Soylent with “Coffiest” - then the Soylent powder, and then the Soylent Original, I will say, the Soylent Original 400 cal bottle does it the most…and I do drink plenty of water, I typically drink 1 gallon of water per day, 5’9" @ ~200 lbs…may want to chime in over at 2.0 is killing my throat ?

The powder tends to stick to my tongue a little bit. I’ve just got to make sure to brush my tongue whenever I brush my teeth. That tends to feel increasingly less pleasant the longer it goes without being brushed, but it’s a simple solution - oral hygiene. lol

No, I don’t. I imagine that I would have a dry mouth were I only consuming 2.0 and not enough supplemental water to remain healthfully hydrated. I’ on 2.0 100%, and between servings I drink plenty of water throughout the day.
