In a way, yes. I suffer from a condition (same family as depression) called Dysthymia. When these low times hit, I eat as a way to cope.
What I have found that is helping is that Soylent makes me feel full and I can go longer through the day without feeling hungry or feel the need to eat as a coping mechanism. It’s weird how it works.
I left my job over a year and a half ago to become a full time student. Before I left, I weighed 198 pounds. Since then, I have gained more than 50 pounds despite keeping an active lifestyle. I ate horribly, the dysthymia didn’t help and living with my significant other made eating right really hard.
I’m on day 4 now (started on Sunday and today is now officially Wednesday (since it’s after 1am at the time I am typing) and will have another bottle in the morning after I wake up (I still haven’t gone to bed yet). I’m like a lot of people here on the forum. I’m here as a method to help loose weight, feel better and start eating better.
