Soylent opening arcade

From this article:

Soylent Has an … Arcade?

Although I don’t especially enjoy the taste of it, I’m increasingly fascinated with Soylent, which has expanded its offerings from a mere nutritional slurry to include meal-replacement bars with weirdly lit Instagram ads (that appear to be making people ill). Now the company is launching an arcade at Embarcadero Station that will run for two weeks, Oct. 14-27 from noon to 6 p.m. You can play Galaga, Invaders, and Gorf, as well as a game they invented called Hungry Hungry Astronaut, all presumably while optimizing your caloric intake.

…also from this article:

To promote the launch, Soylent will be bringing an arcade (called the Play While You Wait Soylent Barcade, though the term barcade is actually a trademarked term owned by a NY bar; don’t @ us, Barcade) to the Embarcadero BART station on Friday, October 14th. The gimmick will be space-themed and free, debuting a custom arcade game called “Hungry Hungry Astronaut,” as well as retro games like Galaga, Invaders and Gorf.

The pop-up will run October 14 through October 27 from 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. at the Embarcadero BART station (298 Market Street).

Crap like this is why arcades don’t do well in America anymore.
