I need advice:
I’m mixing about a half a scoop of Soylent powder with 1/2 cup soaked almonds, 1 frozen banana and 2 cups of filtered water (sometimes brewed green or fruit tea).
- Pinch of salt, 1 date
- Alternating - mixing in a teaspoon of matcha tea powder on one day and mixing in 1/4 teaspoon grated frozen ginger and turmeric with cinnamon and a tiny pinch of cayenne on another day.
I mix it in a Vitamix.
Storage: max 12 hours
Storing in a refrigerator in 2 separate thermoses.
Cleaning: I wash out thermoses and the cover cups daily with hot water and soap.
Blended shake starts tasting sour and emitting gas when I open the containers after 4-8 hours.
I drink 1st shake about 4 hours after mixing and the second about 3-4 hours later.
The second mix always tastes “off” or seems fermented.
