# Variable Measurements for Different Size Meals

Hi All:

I thought I’d share this with the group. I’ve calculated the various serving sizes/calorie counts for my own use. Some of you might find this helpful:

Soylent Serving Sizes:
1 pouch = +/- 7 scoops
1 pouch = 2000 calories

1 scoop = 286 calories
1.5 scoops = 429 calories
2 scoops = 571 calories
5 scoops = 1429 calories
5.5 scoops = 1571 calories
6 scoops = 1716 Calories

Meal breakout:
This is how I apportion my use of Soylent throughout the day. I break it into 9 parts total, dispersed into 3 large meals and 3 snacks, as follows:

Breakfast: 2 parts
Snack 1: 1 part
Lunch: 2 parts
Snack 2: 1 part
Dinner: 2 parts
Snack 3: 1 part
Total Parts: 9 parts

Meals @ 5 scoops/1429 calories per day:
1 Snack = 159 Calories = .56 scoop = round to: .5 scoop
Make = .5 scoop + 1 water

1 Lg. Meal = 318 Calories = 1.1 scoop = round to: 1 scoop
Make = 1 scoop + 2 water

1 snack + 1 meal = 1.66 scoop + 3.32 water

Meals @ 5.5 scoops/1571 calories per day
1 snack = 175 calories = .61 scoops
Make = .61 scoop + 1.2 water

1 meal = 350 calories = 1.22 scoops
Make = 1.25 scoops + 2.5 water

1 snack + 1 meal = 1.86 scoop + 3.72 water

Meals @ 6 scoops/1716 Calories per day
1 Snack = 191 calories = .66 scoop
Make = .66 scoop + 1.33 water

1 Meal = 382 calories = 1.34 scoops
Make = 1.34 scoop + 2.66 water

1 snack + 1 meal = 2 scoops + 4 water

Meals @ 7 scoops/2000 calories per day
1 snack = 222 calories = .77 scoop
Make = .77 scoop + 1.55 water

1 meal = 444 calories = 1.54 scoop
Make = 1.54 scoop + 3.08 water

1 snack + 1 meal = 2.31 scoop + 4.62 water
