its now been over a month since i canceled my order to to delayed shipment… ive emailed soylent at least a dozen times and have yet to receive either my $255 or a response from a real person… i was told the refund would happen in 7 days, MAXIMUM! are you guys just planning to keep my money?

Patience. They’ll take care of it! The company has a lot of growing pains to go through due to the huge demand, but they always get it taken care of in the end.
While I normally counsel patience, if you have no intention of ordering Soylent again, you can contact your credit card company and dispute the bill.
There may be a time limit on how long you can ignore Rosa Labs’ behavior before you lose the right to dispute the charge.
